...Steeped in Tradition, Today's Leaders
Our dedicated and dynamic team is deeply appreciative of those who have taught before us and those who have helped us on our journey. We respect and nurture the ancient bond between student and teacher. With a love of lifelong learning, eyes and hearts wide open, we bow to what we know as well as to what we have yet to discover. No matter what or from whom we learn, we realize the only true teacher is within. We look forward to supporting you on your journey to healthy, whole living at Body Balance!
Team Body Balance Shih Fu
Certified Tai Chi Level 6, Qi Gong, Qi Gong Healing Treatments
Instructor Level 1
"I was attracted to Tai Chi because of the low-impact, high-intensity workout. I've stayed with it for nearly 6 years because of the ongoing benefits to my physical health. The Taoist meditation techniques enhance mental clarity and an overall sense of well-being. I find this practice has greatly enhanced my core strength, balance, and reflexes for lifelong sports of mountain biking, backpacking, and white-water rafting.
I have deep respect for the martial arts traditions of our form. And marvel that these same postures and meditations have been taught orally and through demonstration, person-to-person, for thousands of years. I'm proud to carry on the tradition as an instructor for Body Balance."
